Are Infrared Space Heaters Worth Buying?

It’s hard to compare infrared space heaters with traditional space heaters when the benefits of infrared space heaters completely outweigh the ones for traditional space heaters.  Why is that?  Well, with traditional space heaters you don’t get the same results as you do with infrared space heaters.

First off, with infrared space heaters, they don’t use heated coils like traditional space heaters.  This is good for a couple of reasons.  First, you don’t have to worry about getting burned or hurt when dealing with infrared space heaters like you would with traditional ones. 

The reason for this is because infrared space heaters use infrared wave technology that doesn’t emit heat directly off the units.  This means they’re safe to the touch. 

Second, traditional space heaters warm the air in the room itself which takes more energy, time and leaves you feeling pretty hot and smothered.  If you don’t know what I’m talking about, just think of the last time you were in a room when someone had the heater set really high.  You feel very hot and sometimes even fatigued or sick.

With infrared space heaters you won’t experience this.  The reason is because it doesn’t heat the air itself to warm a room.  It actually emits infrared waves which are absorbed by all of the contents in the room including you which then allows the space to feel warm.  This also allows the room to heat up quicker than it would using a traditional heater.

So the big question is… should you buy one?  The answer is yes.  Not only do infrared space heaters work better and are very safe, but they’re also more cost efficient too.

The reason for this is because it doesn’t take as much energy and time as it does for traditional space heaters.  Plus, most infrared space heater units have a shut off timer built into them.  This way, you can preset a time and then the unit will shut off automatically which saves energy.

Also, by using infrared space heaters, you can drop the temperature on your thermostat a few degrees so that infrared space heater can do more of the work which costs less money than you would spend using your regular heater.

By using infrared space heaters, they can literally pay for themselves after one winter.  They’re also more cost effective because you don’t have to buy filters or replacement parts like you would on traditional heaters.  So, if you’re looking to warm your home or space during the winter the fastest, most efficient way and the most cost effective way, then you might want to look at infrared space heaters as your new choice for keeping warm during the winter.
